It would be really nice if we could set the tangent symmetry axis at any level instead of just 0 and 1.  It can take a while to move down to level one if you have moved the levels data and are at a high division level. The topological axis doesn’t seem to be saved with the file so it must be reset every time a file is opened/Mudbox is started so being able to set it faster would be great.

Another thing about tangent symmetry that bugs me a bit is you shouldn’t be able to set a tool’s symmetry to “Tangent” if the axis hasn’t been set.  Sometimes I’m sculpting and have the symmetry set to tangent but I forgot to set the topological axis so I’m not even sure what its basing the symmetry on. Does it just default to X axis symmetry if it is set to Tangent when the axis hasn’t been set?
