This is in ref to another post I put up in discussions -

Is there any possibility that a “value deviation” setting could be added for baking, or some kind of map post processing ? just seems like a way to avoid map artifacts and spikes would be to check displacement value against neighboring pixels, and if it’s too high smooth it with an average of the surrounding values or show an error ?
