One thing I would love to be able to do is select the faces of....my characters hand for example and be able to scale, rotate and move ONLY the part of the mesh that is selected. I can’t seem to do it, highlight the hand with the “Faces” tool...then go translate and Move...it moves my whole mesh....and also something like z-brush’z transpose tool, that would be sweet and to be able to paint directly on your model would be pretty nice. Hopefully some of these features and the ones asked for by other people get to be on 2.0

Oh, some other things....

I think it would be cool...if for example....I add a stencil from a folder on my desktop....but then want to use that same stencil as a stamp...to be able to click and drag the stencil from the stencil list and drop in the stamp tab and then use it as stamp....

Also...if i select my characters head with the Faces tool....and create a selection...name it “Head” then hide my selection...then realize i left some faces behind that I didnt select....be able to select the remaining faces...right click..."Add to selection..” and select the selection that I want the remaining faces to go in...these would be really helpful for my personal workflow...but im sure a lot of artists would benefit frome these updates as well.

Yeah, the add to selection set thingie would be really handy. I can’t count the times anymore that I forgot to select just a couple of polygons.
As for the SRT tools; to me personally, they should be rewritten, or at least undergo a serious mockup, since they’re way too sluggish to handle as they stand now.

3D painting has been anounced a long while ago by Dave or Andrew (can’t remember), it’s called the Chameleon engine if I’m not mistaken.
