X-Ray Mode for Photo References

I would like to suggest a feature like x-ray to make the model semi-transparent to sculpt with photo references.

Theoretically you can use semi-transparent materials, but mudbox always crashes, if you have these kind of materials applied on a mesh and you use the grab tool with silhouette checked.

i’m using 2 image planes. works better for me to set up and to catch the proportions.
and it’s better for alignment, if your model is semi-transparent.

tried it yesterday with an transparent material… i had no crashes at all…
