| Are the Problems being addressed in new release?

I’m just wondering if the problems everyone seems to be having are being addressed in a new release? I too have been running into the slow cursor when canvas is rotated I have also experienced stepping of my shading upon reopening an image. I find myself having to redo section when I open the file. Anyone else experience this, Like the shading gets rings like a tree? I’m running SBP on a mac mini (mid 2010) running lion. I believe I’m running the most up to date version of the software, at least the mac store doesn’t say it needs to be updated. Thanks for your time everyone.

I agree with JeffBear. I’ve noticed two significant problems since Lion. They are:
1) On desktop the save function is not working, and hangs up
2) On the iPad, an image will autorotate on the canvas and not correct.
Thanks, and BTW, love the program.

Unfortunately I’d have to say “No”
SketchBook Pro is an essential component of my workflow and my iMac died (the infamous ATI X1600 melt-down) in the middle of a project. As a freelancer I don’t get paid until the job is finished, so purchasing a new MacBook Pro sucked my budget dry.
I didn’t think that was an issue as all of my other Art apps installed no problem CS5.5 etc.... But when putting the CD for my retail SketchBook Pro 2010 I discovered it won’t even allow an install; The button is grayed out.
As I’ve been waiting to get answers from Autodesk, I tried Corel Painter Sketch Pad which came with my new Wacom Intuos 4 wireless, but it just isn’t even close to the functionality I need and used to get from SBP.
Today I just spent a lengthly chat session with Autodesk support and got literally no where. She had no information about SBP, she had to look it up on the same webpage as I was looking at! Finally directing me to this page which I’d already found a long time ago.
It just feels horribly as though Autodesk just simply doesn’t care about an inexpensive product that they use simply to steer the Windows users toward more expensive applications that require Paid Support.
Corel has an opportunity here to add layers and additional drawing aids to Corel Painter Sketch Pad and just steal all of Autodesks customers.
Sorry if I’m ranting, but I just finished the chat with them and I’m pissed.
