I am having the same problem, and this seems to be a recurring issue with quite a few graphics tablets and drawing programs.
I am confined to drawing only the left side of the screen - the X-axis movement of the pen is squashed into a tiny area, while the Y-axis movement is normal. I can see my cursor moving across the screen as usual, but the line strokes only show up on the left.
I am using a Genius Mousepen 8X6 tablet and I am running Windows XP professional SP3. Weirdly enough, the tablet works perfectly in Sketchbook Pro on my home machine, which is running Windows 7. It also works perfectly as a mouse - it’s only while drawing that it starts to malfunction.
I have tried re-installing the latest drivers several times, removing excess software and excess drivers (directly from the System32 Drivers folder) and even installing the Adesso CyberTablet 12000 driver like someone suggested in this forum, but nothing has worked.
I think it has something to do with pressure sensitivity and the the X, Y, and Z axes being mixed up.
Please can someone suggest a workaround, or reply to this post if you’ve experienced the same issue - i’m sure this has happened to at least a few users on this forum.
