Hi
I had some problems with my wacom intuos4 tablet and the ‘rightclick’ circle menu. It didn’t appear, the click on the pen button was handled just like a pen tip action and it just started drawing instead of showing the menu. They were solved thanks this forum, by switching off the MS-vista tabletPC service.

One annoying thing stays: when I zoom in close, I cannot exit the zoom icon (the circle) anymore.

Normally when you come near the x cross (rightside top of the move circle), this cross becomes orange and you can click it to exit the zoom/pan/rotate modus.
In my case the ‘move’ ring stays orange. When I then zoom out, the functionality suddenly works again. But in this way i can’t come close to details. (Yah, the scroll wheel of my normal mouse does work, so I’m able to zoom)

When I set the preference/setting “enable/rotate canvas” off, then there is no problem anymore, but I really can’t miss the canvas rotation!!!

I’m currently evaluating a few tablet drawing apps and autodesk seems well, but with these ‘features’ it doesn’t gain points…

Hi general,

Sorry for the inactivity.  I’m looking into your problem now.  I’ll try and get back to you within the day, once I have the intuos4 setup.  Please bear with me.

Hi General,

I’m not able to see the stuck canvas puck that you are describing.  I suspect this may be a symptom of the canvas/rotate bug that we are working on.  Can you give me a description of your machine setup?  Specifically, model name, graphics card and driver.

Thanks,
Syd

Hi,
Thanks for the effort to help. My computer is a Dell laptop:
Dell Studio 17, 2.4GHz, 4GB Ram (6 mnths old)
Display: 1200x1920 (LCD/60Hz)
Card: Ati Radeon Mobility HD 3650
Direct3D Version 7.14.10.0597
OpenGL Version 6.14.10.7769
2D driver version: 7.01.01.798
Driver pack version: 8.512.080703a-066874C-Dell
Vista 32Bit Home, UK language, latest SP, latest windows update

Wacom tablet: intuos4 A3 PTK1240 (by setting lefthanded)
Diver 6.1.2-4

Other programs that i’m evaluating react correct on the tablet (gimp, artrage, zbrush3R2). It’s a rather clean install, no games, just installed DirectX9c redist for some development i’m busy with

I’m a C/C++/C# programmer by proffession, so I might be able to help in any way by evaluating some (debug) version?

Greetz
