Hi guys,

My new Cintiq 21UX arrived yesterday wooo! and everything was great until I fired up Sketchbook Pro 2009.

When I draw a line on the screen, the line appears about 3 inches above where it’s meant to have been placed. I also can’t select any of the pull out options from the toolsection on the bottom left of the screen.

When I paint in PS CS3, everything is fine, so it looks like it’s an issue with just Sketchbook Pro. I can’t figure out what the issue must be, so any help/advise would be really appreciated.

I installed the wacom drivers from the CD that came with the Cintiq. I haven’t tried getting the latest drivers from the wacom site, I may try that today incase that’s an issue.

Try disabling auto scrolling from the preferences of SketchBook Pro, under the canvas tab.

You should try the previous version of the driver as I’ve had issues with the latest one myself which were similar to what you’re mentioning.

Hi big bacon, I’m sorry to hear your Sketchbook experience has been less than satisfactory.  If you don’t object, can you post or email me your system specs.  Based on what you have described, it sounds like you have adequate hardware resources.  I’d like to add your machine specs to our matrix and if possible look into it further.

While probably a long shot, if you’re on a windows machine, have you tried to toggle off the rotate canvas feature in your edit-preferences window?

I just got a Cintiq 12WX yesterday (upgraded from my old Intuos 2)and after installing everything(Dl’d the newest drivers), callibrating, etc., I can’t seem to draw in Sketchbook Pro 2010...I even upgraded it to SP2. I first had this issue on my Vista machine and thought it was a Vista bug, so I installed it on my XP machine and it wirked at first then today no-go. All my other apps work without a hitch, Corel Sketch, PS, etc.

Any ideas?
