Hi,
Since 2008 I’ve made and posted 5 time-lapse videos of paintings I’ve done in Sketchbook Pro.
Recently YouTube asked if I wanted to monetize my videos. As I read their forms I realized I may have inadvertently created a question of copyright for those videos.
So that viewers could see what brushes or colors I was selecting, I screen captured the Sketchbook Pro Interface like the tool selector, lagoon, color editor etc. The interface is visible on screen through-out each video except during opening and closing titles/credits.
I do credit Sketchbook Pro in each video. From upload I’ve also credited Sketchbook Pro in YouTube’s Title for each video and also included a credit and just added a link to Sketchbook Pro in each video’s description. The first video I made in 2008 is an exception where after I uploaded the video I added an annotation crediting Sketchbook Pro.
I’m hoping to obtain permission to use the Sketchbook Pro interface in these videos.
Does anyone know who I should contact or how to go about this?
Or if there is already a policy in place, could you provide a link to that?
Thanks in advance,
Jeff
