Hello. I am running Sketchbook on a Macbook Pro. The tablet I’m running is a Bamboo.

Whenever I use the eyedropper it gives me random colours regardless of the colour I am trying to pick. I have tried resetting the program and selecting on different layers and backgrounds. Nothing is working! Any solutions?

Hi - I have the same problem (Cintiq 12WX) Looks like issue was introduced when I upgraded to Lion OSX.

I have tried all the usual suspects. Drivers/Profiles etc. No luck.

Makes the software un-usable. Others??

Similar problem: whenever I use the eyedropper, it always chooses black, no matter what color it’s over. Saw on the forum that it will work correctly in the main monitor, but what use is that if I’m using a Cintiq tablet?  Surprised people aren’t finding this a huge problem.

I’m also having this problem.  Very annoying!

I’m sure that everyone is having the same problem but don’ use the eyedropper much.

BTW…

Using 2011 with the latest update and Snow Leopard.  Is the new update specifically built for Lion users only?

I Just downloaded the sketchbook pro trial for Mac osx. My machine and software are fully updated including the Bamboo fun drivers.
After several hours of satisfying drawing I cannot get the eyedropper to work , show itself or even hint that it exists . The Mag. glass tap does nothing but raise the floating icon.

So am I doing something wrong , hover over the mag glass and click over the color and click ..in mid air and click and whistle....no dice either way.

Perhaps I missed something in the manual ?

I’m having the same issue here. I have found that by using the eye dropper I get darks but if I use the color picker from the pallete it works fine.
