Hello Everyone,

First Post! I see red?

I performed a search for this topic or phrase within these boards and via google… but nothing.

OK, as the topic says I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

After installing my purchased version of SBK 2010 and trying to start it up and activate it for the first time on my new machine, nothing happens.

Well it seams to start, but when I click on the program title bar, colored(blue)bar at top of program window, it states that the program is not responding?

Any tips or solutions anyone knows about?

Thanks in advance,

Jonathan C Smith

Hi,

I just got a new machine with Windows 7 last week and downloaded the trial of Sketchbook and it immediately crashed. I then changed to Compatibility mode but still no luck...it still crashes. I tried a couple more different settings which had no affect. Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks,
Dan

Thanks for checking it out, Zabander. I’ve actually downloaded a new trial and it works perfectly fine now. I guess there was some glitch in the first download. Many thanks for your help!

Im trying to run SKP 10 R1 on my Windows 7-64bit software and it keeps running really slow (2-3 second lag after a pen stroke). It actually opens with the screen background in black and I have to put a line down and hit “Undo” for the software to clear the black screen and refresh in white.

Is anyone else having this issue? Did you find a solution? I already tried uninstalling it and downloading a trial version straight from the Autodesk site and it doesn’t work. I also tried running the compatibility tool, but none of the settings seem to make a difference.

Also, I have been testing these setting/software with my wacom cintiq 12x tablet. I’m not sure if this makes a difference.

Any help would be appreciated…

Please go to SBP preferences and turn off “Enable Rotate Canvas”.
Restart the app and try again.
What video card/driver version are you using?

Thanks,

The solution I found is to disable aero mode.

Best
