Hi all; new here.  Been using SBP over 3 tabletPCs without issue, but my newest, a Fujitsu T901, is not giving me pressure sensitivity by default in SBP!

Note:  It DOES work if I stop the Tablet Input Service, start SBP, and then start the service again.  all pressure levels are fine in that case.  But that’s a serious pain to do, unless I could modify the SBP launch shortcut to futz with the service when I start the program.

Up to this point, I’ve tried:
Went through and uninstalled all the Wacom, HID, Tablet ISD, etc I could find in Device Mgr.
Rebooted.
Uninstalled Tablet ISD via add/remove progs.
Rebooted.
Installed the new Wacom driver ("Pen - Updated” from Fujitsu’s site:PEN_WACOM_V7.0.2.24_WIN7-32_64_XP_FPC46-1738-01).
Rebooted.

And then I get the same performance like nothing happened: zero line or 100% line with no inbetween.

Running Win7 x64 (updated with all recommended updates), software is SBP 2011 just DLed a few days ago. (It’s the multilinear package with I think means it’s both 32 and 64bit and installs whatever’s appropriate, yes?)

Thanks in advance, ye Autodesk gurus.

I have the same problem on a LE1600.  They do not seem to really care about SBP.  I generally end up using Gimp and MyPaint.

I have made a shortcut called “Sketchbook.bat” that has this in it:

net stop TabletInputService
start
/"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\SketchBook Pro 2011" sketchbookpro.exe
choice
/d y /t 4
net start TabletInputService

This is how I always start SBP.  I do not take credit for this, but cannot remember where I got it from (probably here), so thanks to whoever.

I also just bought a new Fujitsu convertible tablet pc (t901)
and I can’t get subtle pen sensitivity in sketchbook anything like what I get with
my old Toshiba. I’ve tried adjusting the tip feel in the pen tablet properties but
it seems to make no difference at all. Is this problem related to a suspected
incompatibility between Sketchbook & 64 bit Windows 7? Will my problem be solved
using this file:

Alias Sketch Rename to SketchBook Designer Update Win 32/64-bit (exe - 813471Kb)

... or this file:

autodesk_sketchbook_pro_2011_sp2_multilingual_win_32bit.exe (exe - 63987Kb)

... or by replacing my 64 bit Windows 7 with a 32 bit Windows 7, or is there no hope?

Dale - updating my SBP to the absolute latest release resolved the issue; still 64 bit win 7 and all.

Had I updated SBP earlier I might not have had to do all the rest.

It appears this download:
autodesk_sketchbook_pro_2011_sp2_multilingual_win_32bit.exe (exe - 63987Kb)

... has resolved my issue. THANKS!!!

This thing: Alias Sketch Rename to SketchBook Designer Update Win 32/64-bit (exe - 813471Kb)

... is an interesting new app I want to learn more about.
