Ok so I am desparetley trying to find out how to create my own textured brushes in Sketchbook Pro 2011 the tutorials on the disk are not very informative and I can’t find any tutorials that can help me. I know how to edit and create my own brush but how to I capture a shape and use it as a brush like you to in photoshop, I hope I am just being blonde but I can’t seem to figure it out would really appreciate any help!

Have you checked the Help Files PDF? Basically, you create a new brush by click and selecting New Brush from the pop-up selection wheel at the top of the tool box.

Select Paintbrush, which creates the new brush icon in the Set you are currently on. Double click this generic icon to open the brush editor.

At the bottom is a Capture button. Click this and then click on the image you want to use as a stamp making sure the image fits withing the brush diameter. Then adjust the parameters to suit.
