A quick throwaway of a doodle, but I’m starting to have fun with creating texture brushes.
This one was just a quick rough “crosshatch.”
I’m really digging how organic it looks.
I think it’s completely bizarre that I may be doing “looser” stuff on a computer than I ever did with traditional media.

Oh, I’ve just discovered that The Area exists. Jeez, I’ve missed a lot. A small WIP - drawing of North Korean leader, Kim Jong Il. No big insight as to how I use SBPro for this, I just find it so easy to select and adjust parts of the drawing. The new Brush Creator is a superb addition.

I love using Sketchbook Pro on my Modbook, a traveling digital sketchbook if you will. It’s a tad heavy but I’m getting used to it.

Excellent drawing, Suzi. I’ve always fancied sketching “en plein air” with a screen. I’m limited to a PDA at the moment, or else a laptop with my A6 Wacom!

Here’s WIP, from a very recent (last week) trip to Kentucky. I’m doing drawings and paintings leading up to the Derby, which is this weekend, BTW. I’m amazed at the color and depth I can get out of Sketchbook Pro. I used to use it only for rough work, but now I find I’m using it for finished pieces as well. I love it’s unobtrusive gui and SPEED.
