Hi! I’m trying to figure out why my SketchBook Designer 2.0 just won’t launch! First I was able to deploy the “Autodesk Education Suite for Entertainment Creation 2012”. Everything install correctly with success logs in the Windows event viewer (Maya, Mudbox, MotionBuilder, etc.). And I use these MSI properties for the installation part.

That said when I double click on the icon all I can see is the SketchBook Designer splash screen appear on the screen and disappear. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong here!?!? Did I forgot some obscur command line parameter when installing the product? Is SketchBook Designer associate with the Maya 2012 license? Almost forget to mention that I can’t find a single log anywhere on the computer explaining why SketchBook won’t start.
Any help will be appreciated!

Problem solved. SketchBook Designer 2.0 without SP1 is able to popup a warning when some part of the computer doesn’t meet the minimum requirements. But with the SP1 it just won’t launch without any warning, error message, etc. A real pain to troubleshoot.

I finally have access to the type of pc I will deploy SketchBook Designer 2012 on and guess what. It install without any problem. But it just won’t launch. The PC is a Lenovo ThinkStation S20 with an NVidia Quadro 2000. I also tried 2 drivers for the video card. The first one is the 259.57 and the second one is 265.70 for Windows 7 x64 Enterprise French Edition. What am I missing here?!?! The NVidia Quadro 2000 should run it without any problem! Please! Some help here will be welcome!
