Hey all,

I been researching a problem with sketchbook pro regarding the ellipse and ruler tool and have had no luck so far.

I currently use a Wacom Bamboo fun CTE-450 and Sketchbook Pro 2011. While using SBP everything works normal and responsively up until I need to use either the ruler tool or the ellipse tool, SBP remains to work normally till I attempt to move the tools or resize them, at which point, SBP become sluggish and inaccurate.

The steps I have taken to fix this problem are as follows;

Re-install SBP2011
Update Wacom drivers
turn off “rotate canvas”
turn off “canvas scroll bars”
made the double click sensitivity minimum
turned off windows “gestures”
used USB2 and USB3 ports

My rig works perfectly fine on everything else and my tablet has no issues with photoshop either.
I’m running;

AMD Phenom II x6 1055T @3.26GHz
8Gb Ram
Nvidia GTX 480 1570Gb

Thank you.

Ok i found something out regarding the problem.

If you turn the ruler off and then back on using sketchbooks Gestures/flicks, the ruler and ellipse move freely until you “put them down” and try to move them again.

So for now it seems the only solution is to turn the ruler off and back on every time you want to move it.

Can you test this?

Thanks.
