I use my 3d Connexion ‘mouse’ when I use Google Sketchup and it’s incredible.  I can’t fathom using the mouse-based controls to manage my view of models.  Now when I use Sketchbook Pro on my Mac I can’t help but think of how great it would be to rotate the canvas and zoom in/out with the device.  Instead I’m stuck with jumpy, inaccurate rotations and zooming with the keyboard.  Sketchbook is still a great product, don’t get me wrong.

I hope someone at Autodesk sees my attached mockup and will pass it along to someone who might be able to do it.

Thanks for creating great drawing software!

I totally agree.  I have the 3dconnexion SpaceNavigator and it seems as if Autodesk has really ignored this device (with my experience with AutoCAD 2011/2012).  Even if Sketchbook Pro 6 had direct keyboard mapping to the rotate, zoom and pan functions we could make it work with the latest BETA drivers that allows mapping of the SpaceNavigator.  This with a Wacom tablet would be excellent!
