Hello,

I was hoping someone could tell me if there’s a way to smooth out lines after you draw them out. Something that would fix any jitters in the line, make them a little more crisp, a little sharper, etc. Just when I get to that stage of inking a sketch I want it to be as sharp and clear as possible.

Thank you much.

I agree with you.
The issue may be with the hardware you are using.
n-trig or wacom digitizer?

I’m just using a Bamboo Wacom tablet, hooked up to my MacBook. I can sketch smooth, straight lines on a pencil and paper, and I didn’t realize that Sketchbook Pro would be overly sensitive as it is.

Hi Impulsive,

Have you tried lowering the sensitivity settings on the bamboo (speed and pen tip pressure, mouse style vs pen style)?  That could be your answer right there.  Also, it is normal for transitioning artists to experience “jitter” on sketching and inking.  Try and draw with your arm rather than with your wrist, it will force you to “drag” your lines, limiting your pen passes to 1 or 2, giving you a smoother result, rather than “flicking” your wrist which could result in multiple lines and a jagged result.
