Hi,

I’m new to Sketchbook Pro and am using it to do some storyboarding.  Some of the sketches I’m doing require me to import an image.  Some of the sketches I’m saving, I would like to have the background transparent.  I am using these sketches in KeyNote and layering them there.  Is there a way when I save a sketch to make the background transparent?  Also, when importing an image into sketchbook, is there a simple way to make the background on the imported image transparent?

Thanks!

Hi,

There is the option “transparent background” in the general preferences . If you enabled this option, new canvases will be created with a transparent background.

Do the images that you are importing already have a transparent background? If you import a png or tiff image, its transparency will be respected when imported in SBP.

I was wondering, what the best way is to save and transfer an image from sketchbook pro to the web. I am not able to keep the transparent background when I save every other way than a tiff.  Thank you in advance.
