Hi Dimmy,

That’s interesting that PS can do it.  I will look into it.  Thanks for bringing this up.  Feel free to bring any more of these issues up.

I have a simpler but related problem.  Simple in that it’s a default function that isn’t working.  Related becaus my intuos4 touch ring zooms fine on my browser and in Photoshop but not at all in Sketchbook Pro.  Or, for that matter, another program, Toomboom storyboard Pro.

My system:
Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac10,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 3.06 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 8 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
Boot ROM Version: IM101.00CC.B00
SMC Version (system): 1.52f9

One weird thing I found when I searched in “About this Mac” for more info, I found that this when I clicked on Sketchbook Pro in Applications:
SketchBookPro:

Version: 3.0
Last Modified: 7/29/08 8:02 PM
Kind: Universal
64-Bit (Intel): No
Get Info String: Autodesk® SketchBook™ Pro (Prototype), Copyright © 1993-2008 Autodesk Inc. All rights reserved.
Location: /Applications/SketchBookPro.app

Is it not reading the Intel processor?  Is there a toggle switch somewhere?

did you try downloading the latest wacom intuos driver?  (64-bit for snow leopard) i purchased my tablet recently and it didn’t ship with this latest driver.  i’m guessing the “64-bit (intel): no” just means that SKP doesn’t run 64 bit in SL.  mine says the same thing, for version 4.1.1.

You have to map the touch ring to whatever hot keys you use with SBP.
For example, for rotating the canvas with the ring, you have to map the [ ] to it.
This is done in the table preferences panel.

SBP is a universal app, meaning that it can run on PPC and Intel processors.
It is a 32 bit app.
