I couldn’t find a way of closing a curve (curve-by-point mode). I tried dragging the last point on top of the first one but it doesn’t snap, they are still distinct.

The other way I was thinking of is to start with a circle and modify it to look like the final curve but it doesn’t seem natural.

Thanks

Costab,

A technique that I use is to:
1) Draw the last segment (endpoint) near the first segment’s endpoint.
2) Accept the curve.
3) Use “Select Curve” to edit the endpoint of the last segment on to the endpoint of the first segment.

Provided you are using one of the point stroke curve tools you should be able to locate along or at the end of another curve.

After using AutoCAD for many years I was hoping for a “Close” option, but this is a workaround I have discovered.

Perhaps a future version will add the enhancement.

Regards,

Jerry
