Firstly, let me say that I am not going to rant on about stuff here. This programme I have been playing with for 3 days or so, and to be honest it is brilliant!!

So user friendly and easy to pick up, I am in awe with how great it is. Why is it such a hidden Gem? I decided to download it on my student licence and give it a whirl as I can not afford illustrator and I saw it in the list..  try it i thought… low and behold for the first time in a very long time, I have found a 2d app that kicks adobe’s butt :-)

So to the problems.. (bare in mind i am giving this as feedback not whining)

Autosave feature? I spent 3 hours making a schematic and it crashed on me when selecting multiple edge components to adjust their thickness. I then realised I had not saved in the last 3 hours (school boy error) but when i checked there was no auto recover like you get in max?? I think this is a must!

Shadowing I am not sure if this is because I am currently working on my laptop, but when you zoom out, you seem to get like a faint blurry shadow where detail vector elements come together. If you import this into photoshop, it vanishes so i am assuming its a sketchbook render issue. (small prob but then....) I will test this on my rig when i get home if the licence permits.

Obvious selection tool mabey I am being an idiot, but i am finding it difficult, to select already drawn vectors, duplicate them and modify them. (again a small point, but it would help the flow of this excellent programme if it was a simple task) - still not sure how to do it.

But to say again, I love the programme.. really has impressed me hugely, long time ADOBE fan converted here.. now all you need to do is make a Photoshop alternative then Autodesk will have it all!!

Thanks for the facility to use the software for free for all those still learning, very much appreciated.
