I’ve been using the SbpD trial for a few days now, and i’ve noticed an interface bug that’s 100% repeatable while i’m using my cintiq 12wx. The components that roll out from the color & attribute editors, as well as the layer and asset managers don’t respond correctly to click events.

Mousing over correctly locates the selection boundaries for the items within the rollout menus(like the intensity and size sliders), but the hotspot for clicking is interpreted as being aproximately 15-20 pixels below the item (which makes clicking items shorter than 15-20 pixels impossible) It is possible to click certain items by intentionally offsetting the stylus by 15-20 pixels above the item, but obviously this is not practical. The 15-20 pixel offset is the same if i move the editor toolbar anywhere on the screen.

Drivers have been uninstalled and reinstalled several times, the screen is definitely calibrated, and the cursor location is spot on when actually sketching lines in the canvas area. The rest of the interface appears to be unaffected by this bug, as tool selection in the main toolbar functions exactly as it should.

After uninstalling the wacom drivers, and allowing windows 7 to run the tablet in relative positioning mode as opposed to the functionally correct absolute positioning mode, it becomes possible to click (with the wacom stylus)on the sliders with the cursor located anywhere within the item bounding box (as one would expect the interface to respond).

The interface also responds correctly if i use my mouse to select the items while the application is active on the wacom screen (even if the wacom drivers are installed).
Has anyone else come across this issue? Any luck fixing it?

EDIT: Turns out that old wacom drivers were hanging out in the x86 program files directory (I run 64 bit windows 7), that were causing a conflict after installing the new drivers in the x64 program files directory. All is right in the world once again.

Hey cfgb..

I’m having exactly this issue, using sketchbook Designer 2012, with a Cintiq 12wx.  On the interface, the clicks seem to happen at the Tail of the arrow, not the tip! (if that makes sense).  Also, the line tracking isn’t very good for me.

I’m glad that you fixed it, but I didn’t understand what your EDIT was referring too.  Could you give more detail?  Also, what version of the wacom driver are you using?  Thanks for your help
