Ipad Version layer bug:  Any Layer that has a transparency less than 100% and is turned off will be turned on by the software upon the next edit of the image or on any export of the image.

Previously created images will have their layers that have been turned off automatically turned on when edited again or exported.

Please advise.

This may be a similar bug to one I’ve experienced: If I save an artwork and then reopen it, the current layer reverts to the base layer, instead of the one I was previously working on. My base layer is usually part-transparent with a rough layout drawing on it. The actual ‘magic’ takes place on another layer on top.

I’ve also had artworks fail to save, when using this two layer setup with the bottom layer part-transparent. I think there are definitely some bugs lurking in SBP’s handling of layers with transparency

I’ve seen that bug too. Also another common problem is that layers that are turned off, will automatically turn back on if you quit to the gallery and then reopen the image.
Also, exporting an artwork to an image will automatically turn hidden layers back on, and then export the image.
