Recently bought a I pad 2 and want to transfer my layered Sketchbook Pro file to the new I Pad 2. Is this possible to do?

Yes. It has to be done through iTunes:
- sync and backup your old iPad
- sync with your new iPad. All apps and data should be transferred by iTunes.
