Apart from Hewlett Packard 8710w, which is mentioned as qualified at the system requirements of Autodesk Flare, are there any other ones that have been tested and can be qualified too?

I don’t believe any other software besides Flare will ever run on a laptop; though I could be wrong.
At NAB they only had a couple of laptops and they were all the same HP model.

Usually they’ll say in the Release Notes of any Service Packs/Extensions if any new hardware has been tested and qualified.  I’d make sure to bookmark http://www.autodesk.com/smoke-documentation or http://www.autodesk.com/flame-documentation (depending on your app) and check back when a new SP or Ext. comes out (there’s also usually a link in the Announcement email, if you’re signed up for those.)
