When you press a short key (G), then selecting gaps are toggled off. Press G again toggles it back on.

The thing is to deselect everything you have to scroll down to under the audio to select that little piece of strip or use a short cut key. The gaps are constantly in my way, but I don’t need them all the time, but they are all the time in my way with selections.

Would like a way to temporarily turn them of.

As a final cut editor it is getting in the way when I don’t need them.
