Hi, in the desktop i can playback the thumbnail (spacebar key), the problem is i will play the thumbnail under my current cursor position NOT the SELECTED thumbnail ? is there any preference i can set to switch this behaviour?

Let say i’m hovering a thumbnail (clip) , i can play it by pressing spacebar directly , but what if i want to scrub it first coz i don’t want it to play from the beginning. While doing the scrubbing , my cursor will definetely then out of thumbnail. it might accidentally hovering (on top of) other clip/thumbnail. now pressing spacebar will definetly play the wrong clip. so everytime i scrub the clip, i got to reposition the cursor on top of the clip over and over again.

So i think it’s more usefull to change the behaviour. Don’t you think ?

Thanks for the explaination. Yes i understand about the ‘focus’ thing. But is this workflow fit the need of most users ? i don’t know, maybe i’m the only one who request it lol. I just feel this is slowing down my workflow. So the thing is the design has to support better workflow.
