Hi,

Although I downloaded and installed Smoke 2013 from Education Community a while ago, I don’t get Activation.

In addition, the Continue button was not able to be pushed, when installing and Product Key was “777E1”.
When changing this into “776E1”, it was able to do, but is this the cause or can’t Activation Server of Autodesk prepare yet?

Hi.

If you are installing a Student version, please make sure you select “Standalone license” in the installer.
If you have selected “network license” by mistake, you must uninstall and then reinstall Smoke.

Also, what do you mean you got the Student license “a while ago”? We have just released this yesteday. If you’re using an older serial number, that might not work with 2013 anymore. Please use the new s/n that is generated on the student portal when you download the 2013 version.

I was installed in Standalone.

The problem is that it doesn’t proceed Continue button in the installer using this Product Key “777E1” cannot press the issue in the student portal. However, Continue button will be pressed so by changing “776E1”.
Please look at this.

Indeed, there seems to be an error there.

I have the same problem exactly. I received a mail from Autodesk, it says my serial number is for AutoCAD for Mac 2013. I don’t understand.

Hi everyone.

The product key was fixed on the Student Portal.
Can you please try licensing your software again? Please let me know if it still doesn’t work.

Hi,

I was successful in “776E1” installation but activation fails after that.

Is there a possibility that the Activation Server of Autodesk is set to “777E1” yet?

Hi.
That’s what I was afraid of.
Let me report back and see if they can re-generate the serial numbers using the proper product key.

Hi everyone.

The team in charge of the student portal have confirmed that the serial numbers were issued to the wrong product key.
They said they plan to contact the affected users and provide you with instructions on how to get a good S/N.

Please make sure your e-mail address is accurate in the Student Portal.

Hi again, everyone.

The activation issue has been fixed without having to issue new serial numbers.
Please try to re-activate using the same S/N you got on release day. Just make sure the product key is 776E1 and not 777E1.
