Now it says I have reached my reactivation limit, and won't let me open smoke. First off I've never moved around licenses of smoke to other computers, so I have no idea why it would be reactivating in the first place. Approx. 8-10 times per 8 hour session the system keyboard locks up with the following error in the lower right "SHORTCUTS: KEY_CTL_R". The system still functions properly with the onscreen interface buttons, but the keyboard shortcuts and right click functionality of the wacom (intous 4) no longer work. I'm able to save the project via the pull down file menu, but in order to quite the app I have to use the force quit option from the service monitor. It appears to happen most often when moving clips in the timeline, but isn't limited to just that, I've had the same problem pop up when duplicating a sequences in the Library. The keyboard and tablet are connected directly to the mac and I've tried several versions of the wacom drivers (doing complete uninstalls of the users and software). This issue is exclusive to Smoke and doesn't appear in FCP 7, Avid or CS 6. All systems are running OS X 10.8, however, this issue was present from the start with 2013 running previous OSX versions, but it seems to have gotten much worse. Should I assume that YUV Headroom only be enabled when importing YUV 422 10bit files? How does Smoke deal with RGB import of 4444 files? I am hoping it is similar to Resolve & imports the full range by default? I tested this by importing with & without headroom & exporting dpx of both. I then compared these to the full range imports in Resolve & the dpx derived from [u]not[/u] enabling headroom was the match. I ask this as I want to ensure my comps go to Grade ok, and the colourist is happy! Last time I did this we were working with 422 10bit files & I had to enable headroom in Smoke in order to match Resolves 'full range' import. Anyone else had experience with this? I can zoom in on the screen and shrink time line but is that the work around. 4) How do I get the source clip tab to go away! 5) To add an offline to a conform all I had to do was drag the clip under neath the time line and it would add the "Version" with out tripping over audio while creating a secondary viewer. Thoughts? Some of just dont edit, we finish.
