Hi all

There is a new version of the Softimage CryExporter avaliable which should address the Vista issues that many people have been encountering.

The exporter still only supports static objects only, but animation support is being worked on and should be avaliable soon. Stay tuned :)

At the moment, the new version can accessed and downloaded from the crymod forums, via the link below.

http://www.crymod.com/thread.php?threadid=27219

Please remember that the exporter is still only a beta, and this release is an immediate unsupported version for people to test.

Hi,

Just Did a total reinstall of windows, and used this plugin instead of the old one that came with The sdk.
I am missing my Crytek menu, and I get a nice red bar down the bottom when I try to use any of the functions on the toolbar.

have you tired changing the layouts, to see if the menu appears?

You could just try uninstalling, rebooting and installing again.

I have tried changing layouts, and nothing happened.

I will try reinstalling, and get back to you.

Reinstalled it 3 times now. No effect and the same thing. - I noticed it installs in C:/Users/Abunchofstuffincludingsoftimagefolder is this where it is supposed to install? I tried dragging this folders contents to the C:/Softimage/XSI_Mod_Tool6 (or whatever it is) but still no effect. Between installs I deleted all Softimage registry keys and the C:/Softimage folder.

to try to see if it was the plugin itself I installed it without crosswalk and didn’t even get any errors saying “where the hell is crosswalk over 2.5”

I managed to fix it by downgrading to the 2.5 crosswalk. Don’t think the DL is still avaliable anywhere but.

If you have Gmail I can send it to you Pak.

You can download older versions of Crosswalk from our main website:
