Hello,

I decided that it was time for a more advance set of tutorials for exporting stuff into unreal 3, from xsi.

This is a first of a bunch of tutorials i plan to do. The first one, i think is kinda funny, i sound like a freaking robot. lol..

Check it out and let me know what you think.

Little problem though. When I make a null i get more stuff contained within the null. This means that I cant have my Geo null containing my flamethrower geometry. My flamethrower Geometry also expands further meaning i cant move it within scene explore.

when u make a new null, you should not get anything inside of it, unless u r dropping stuff inside of it, or duplicating anything that already has something inside.

Im thinking that maybe you problably created a new model, and that you had something selected.  Anything that is selected get automatically dropped inside of that null.

Make sure for now, just select stuff from the explorer so you know exactly what you are selecting.  i think maybe you selected the model by mistake instead of the null.

There is only one null there? Turn your explorer to say “Objects Only” The Null that has the black P inside of the diamon, is the properties of the selected null.

Bring up the explorer by pressing 8.

Okay I followed it exactly as you said. The only thing thats off is the position of the nulls and I still get the same error. The picture shows the error I get and the explorer hierarchy. I just checked and the scene info in mine is exactly the same as in your scene.
