*Hoping that its ok to post this here*

I have an issue when I downloaded the ModTool (directly and with the manager). I run setup and it shows the splash screen, then half way loading I get this error:

Unhandled Exception Error Number: 0x80040707 Description: DLL Function Call Crashed: gdi32.DescribePixelFormat.

Then the setup crashes :[ ... Im running windows7 32bit, dont know what else to do :[

Please help if you can :]

Do you get this error while you are running the Setup program, or when you try to start ModTool?

What graphics card do you have? What display driver version?

Yeah thanks, its at instillation. I can’t try the first way because Im running windows 7 so it doesn’t have the run as option in the right click menu… the third way to fix it in the link is dead… and the second option (changing registries) Im ify about attempting because it doesn’t have windows 7 instructions.. :’[ Im a very sad person because I cannot install… I can try to change the registries but should I attempt it?

Try installing in Safe mode.
