i’m sure there was a feature in the mod tool. that allowed you to merge all textures that where used on a model into 1 texture with 1 UV. am i right and if so how do i do this?

property/Rendermap is what you want.

That demonstrates how to combine different textures/materials into 1 texture/material, ie RenderMap.
That used to be posted on the old http://www.softimage.com website, but unfortunately it is no longer there.
