xsi have valve source addon
it means they have the realtime game shader right??
i want to apply realtime shader which similar or exact same behaves as VertexLitGeneric shader
or similar preset, shader compound things (non realtime)

i have tried marmoset toolbag
and it was similar what im looking for
but i cant measure with it
marmoset doesnt similar source engine

it would be cool if mudbox or 3dcoat have the shaders.
measure all map balances while texture painting

Real time shaders are quite doable in Softimage, including ones that use specular values. To be honest I’m not quite sure what you’re looking to measure though. Since Source has its own material system, it might just be easier/most accurate to preview your material using the SDK’s model viewer
