Hi again, more problems, lol .)

When I try and add a texture to my character model I get an error, says I can’t do it (see attached image). Is there some simply work-around or something I forgot to do, I’m thinking maybe there’s an edge somewhere that doesn’t turn the right way, but it’d be rather much work to inspect each one lol- any suggestions/inputs would be welcome

Cheers!!

Jesper

Solved it lol, ok whenever I open the model geometry, and choose the ‘Render’ toolbar, and go to Get > Texture > Image I get an error, ‘The preset(s) could not be applied to this selection.’, as in the attached image above..

This is what I had to do. Instead of selecting the object as an ‘Object’ I instead had to select all the polygons, this is done in the Select toolbar! Ok! NOW when I click Get > Texture > Image in the Texture toolbar, I get a screen where there is this multi-coloured image (see attached), I select the image I want to use, and MAKE SURE to create a Texture Projection, I just click ‘New..’ and choose UV, I read somewhere they were the best or most useful or flexible but anyway, that done, the texture is applied, and I can see it if I choose ‘Textured’ or ‘Textured Decal’ in the Display Type menu, in the top right of each viewport, where it also says ‘Wireframe’, ‘Shaded’, etc. I’ve attached a screen shot of the result, it’s not great but it’s a step forward lol I made myself a nekkid woman glory to the world heehee ,)
