Face Robot simulation?

For non human characters, how can we setup a similar Face Robot setup? It’s just so much easier to do Shape Manager settings with the squares rather than move dots around.  Especially with a high poly model.

Eh?  Face Robot is designed for human / humanoid characters only.  That said, I’m not really sure what it is that your asking?  Perhaps if you try and clarify?

You know how when you go into assemble, pick your spots (nose, upper lip, ear, etc) and when you finish all that, squares appear to move the eybrow, mouth, etc… is that possible to setup for non human characters without the use of face robot?

I think that what your seeing that that Face Robot is a rig, and not shape animation.

so what you need to do is make a rig- using bones, controllers and envelopes - to animate your face and not try to to animate with shape animation.

Yes.. There’s a whole lot going on under the hood of the face robot rig that most riggers will never grasp…
