Hello,

I have a character i rigged using the biped guide, at which time i chose to include volume preservers for various areas like thighs and elbows, etc. These are no longer wanted and in fact they interfere with how i am using the character now, and i would prefer to use deform keys linked with bone rotations. Regenerating the rig is not an option, since a lot of work has been done since then on enveloping etc.

Can I safely just delete these volume preservers from the rig without running into problems later?

What is using these volume preservers, and how can I find the link between them. I’d rather not leave expressions which go nowhere. I’d rather get rid of whatever function is using these volume preservers. I get an itchy feeling that i will run into problems if i don’t....

thanks for any advice,
NJ
PS running XSI 7.01
