| Null to Cluster constrain parented to mesh

There is a Erick Millers’s hyperRealMeshParnet it’s an advanced script that allow me to attach any transform onto the closet face of a poly mesh, even if they’re transforms that are currently deforming the mesh that I am attaching to. How I can do it in XSI?

Do you mean without bypassing for a second mesh right? mmmm… Maybe the logic of the mel script can be adopted in XSI but first you need study how he did it in maya, aren’t 2 clicks and done here :(

If I remember correctly, this script is based on UVs… so if your mesh doesn’t have good UV’s and you need to adjust the position of the rest null, it will go spastic if your mesh has uv islands that aren’t connected. This isn’t a good method in my eyes.
I’d rather do a layered rig anyway simply for the fact that if something goes wrong, it doesn’t screw up your entire rig.

I’m not saying than i know how this script works or i’m a master in anything, i’m just saying than in a forum is really more factible answer specific questions to figure out and explain the whole thing. I just suggest you (indirectly) ask for the pieces of the puzzle and not the whole picture, maybe in this way you can have more answers and finally can do the script.
My english is very bad, forgiveness if there was some misunderstanding with my previous answer.
