parent a point to an object?

Hi guys!
Is there a way to parent a point to an object?
I’m sure it is just that I don’t have a lot of experience in this field so I don’t know how…

tag your point, Edit-CreateClusterWithCentre, then parent the cluster centre to the object you want as parent.

Might also be worth noting that what you’re asking for is exactly what enveloping does.
If you had several points you wanted affected in such a fashion the number of clusters and interim nulls would grow and become annoying to manage.
If you need to do this for a few points just add an envelope and use the objects you want to constrain the point to as deformers, and for points you don’t want affected just turn normalization off and zero out their weights.
