Hello One and All,

I’ve been given a project where I have to figure out animating a puzzle cube similar (though slightly more complex than) this:

[/FONT]I’ve been experimenting with small mock ups for proof of concept using various parenting schemes and such and was wondering if anyone had any experience with such things and knew of a fail safe and flexible system?

Right now I’m trying to get my head around how I could get things to unfurl down to one end section and then have that section become the “root” and have the other parts fold to it without being too complicated.

Maybe this is more of a rigging question than anything else and I’ve posted in the wrong area?

Thank You,
Gideon
