However, I may have to work with Maya users and we're trying to figure out how we can collaborate on assets at the moment. However, when I test exporting animations via FBX, I noticed a number of issues that I am unable to resolve. I found the source of the problem : its because the "global transformation" of the arm is set to -1 for the scale x,y and z). It's possible to freeze the global transformation without move the bones ? I try to set a "neutral pose" for the bones, but that's change anything in the global trasnformation. In the 'Rig From Biped Guide' setup I know that I can disable the symmetrical option for the arm, but I will must remake the rig of my character. If I can I'd like to avoid. Now my question. I've been working my way through Digital-Tutors. In the reverse foot control section the instructor changes the colors of the bone chains. When I try to do this my whole skeleton changes color, somehow I can't color individual bones. I must have grouped them all together in some way, unknowingly, but can't figure out how to undo this. If you are not doing motion capture but want to use the controls in Face Robot to animate the face is it now necessary to go to the EXPORT stage and build the EXPORT ANIMATION RIG[color=blue][/color] or can one just for example add a body rig by switching over to the Softimage interface and animate the Face Robot cluster controls in Softimage or as alternative if you have a rig that includes a Face Robot rig just animate the face rig in Face Robot?
