Hi guys, having a problem mirroring weights: when i try to apply or create a symmetry map i get this error message:

‘ ERROR : Object doesn’t support this property or method: ‘in_obj.activeprimitive’ - [line 438 in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Softimage 2012.SAP\Application\DSScripts\enveloping.vbs]
‘ ERROR :  - [line 276 in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Softimage 2012.SAP\Application\DSScripts\enveloping.vbs]
CreateSymmetryMappingTemplate

I can work around this with ICE but this simple function should work no?

That error means that you’re trying to create a symmetry map template on an object that doesn’t have an envelope operator in its construction stack.

Ah whoops, i did have an envelope operator - i just wasn’t in animation construction mode, thanks for the reply Stephen - i sometimes jump to the “ it’s a bug” conclusion too quick ;)
