After a first-few-minutes look at Softimage, one of the things that is slowing progress is the choice of narrator for the learning movies. Similar to Maya I think Autodesk have gone for neutrality, but the dead-flesh tone is not making keeping concentration easy. Would it be wrong to choose a narrator with just a little bit of personality or even sex-appeal? A younger voice? Or better still, a few options for the audio-track? With a little coordination I’d have thought there were a raft of capable would-be voice actors who would happily do the voice at no charge.

Wow, monotonous with a total lack of sex appeal? I guess I should stop doing demo videos too… How about they hire Pooby? I hate to say it, but I find his English accent very alluring.

come on guys, this videos are so nicely put together… they seem very well scripted and there is a lot of information squezeed in a very short amount of time, explained in plain and simple english that is good enough for both native speakers and foreign people.

I agree Pooby is hilarious, but i feel like this are two different things…

I wouldnt change a thing… I’m with langdon, just drink coffee. And keep more of this videos coming guys!
