Facerobot tongue bug?

If you rotate the head the tongue does some weird stuff. Twisting up, moving outside of the face etc. I noticed that the sample files also exhibit this problem and I’ve tried everything I can think of to deal with it but at best I can only keep the tongue mostly inside the mouth cavity but it still twists and distorts with head rotations.

Does anybody have a clue how to fix this or are we looking at a nasty bug?

The head is not designed to be animated like this, but instead to point cache the shape on to your rigged character’s head or body and head. I have asked that this and some other issues (eye lid tracking) are taken care of so clients are able to manipulate the head without caching.
