I’ve tried to send a scene ( .mb file is about 80MB ) from maya 2012 to softimage 2012 by ‘Send to Softimage’ command , Sometimes , Maya 2012 got stuck in exporting progress for a long time (more than 10 minutes ) , and after all those progress over , Softimage receives nothing .
I also tried to export the whole scene as FBX in maya , a lot errors occur after export , and Softimage 2012 even can’t finish importing that FBX file !
Then I tried Obj and DAE , Softimage 2012 cant import them either ( import Dae file won’t work at all ) .

What’s the limitation when export Scene data from maya to XSI ？
What should I do to make sure the scene can be sent to XSI from Maya Correctly ?
