Hi,

I am new to XSI, and today I set up my first compositing tree for a scene I am working on.  I understand the node based flow being an active Shake user - so that wasn’t an issue for me.  But my question is how do I render out a final composite after I have set a file out node and set the parameters?

Im not sure I understand what you mean.  If you double click the file output node, set your settings and then hit render (top left of that window), that should do it.
