Hi guys!
I have a clip that is rendered and is supposed to loop three more times.
In compositing, is there a node that allows me to reuse the already rendered images without have to re-render them? I tried the retiming nodes but they just seem to expand or contract the clip rather than move the whole thing forward or backward in time.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Anthony

Hi Anthony,

When you get your render pass in the Fx Tree, open its Property Editor and go to the Timing page. You’ll find options to cycle the clip.

This is documented in the XSI guides. Look in: Compositing and Effects > Building Effects > Building Effects (scroll down to “Applying Extrapolation")

Hope the helps,

J

Edit: Forgot to mention, you can also do this in the animation mixer. It’s documented in the same place.
