Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to pass on what could be a useful site for all those Softimage users
exposed to Composite for the first time.

I run the EnigmaFX Blog, which is focused on Autodesk Composite, and you can find it here.

It is fairly new and I plan to offer as much information as possible. I have
been using Composite since TOXIK 2007, and I have launched Video tips and will
offer more useful information like this, as time permits.

Feel free to send me questions, but as I am also a working professional like
you, I can only answer when I have time. So if it is of urgency, I may not
be the best place to answer it. Also, if you have any suggestions please
feel free to pass them on.

Thanks for your time.

cheers

Hi. Sorry for my bad english. With respects, as XSI user i’m still on Fx-Tree as compositor tool with Combustion as motion-graphics tool too. I never agree the reason that Adsk “killed” combustion (this is an old story...) and also the reason they didn’t improve Fx-Tree|Media Illusion (ICE integration and more) instead of bundling Toxik|composite with XSI… Different thing it’ld be a real Toxik expansion with motion-graphics and editing|finishing additional features too, shipping as real desktop application competitor… (why Smoke for Mac users only? I know Mac is UNIX-based and the porting is not too much difficult but a choice for Windows users too it would be very appreciated… An evolution of Combustion|Toxik|Composite don’t require difficult porting...)
Anyway, this is just my humble personal opinion.
