i just got the new version of softimage but cannot seem to find the edit and constrain panels that are normally on the right hand side of the page. can anyone possibly tell me how i could retrieve them?

Could it be, that they are merely “collapsed”, i.e. do you still see the labels for “Constrain” and “Edit”, while the buttons are missing? If so: right-click on the label itself (the part you still can see), to expand the collapsed panel again…

Collapse the Transform panel (right-click it), and maybe the Select panel too.
Do you see the missing panels?
